As Autumn seems to have arrived on our doorstep this morning, I have had a lovely morning finishing this little guy, whilst watching the rain outside. He has been a joy to work on through the holidays.
He loves to climb up the trunk and build dens in amongst the branches. We have had a talk about foxes and their dens, in that they are mainly underground, but insists he gets a birds eye view from up amongst the branches. His main ambition is to be a cub scout leader - so he has set about building dens out of twigs and lighting small fires on which to toast his sandwiches.
He is currently sitting on a very high shelf in my little Etsy shop surveying the surroundings! Do pop by and say hello :)) xxx
Adopted :))) This little fella is packing up his rucksack and heading for Australia - fingers crossed they have a need for scout leaders! xx
Delilah has been more than a little upset with the weather of late. One minute it is beautiful sunshine, and the next the heavens have opened. Twice this week her sundress has been more than a little damp, and it is most uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time, especially if the grass isn't dry either. We have had words about the possibility of a raincoat - and Delilah thought this might be an agreeable solution, although she got a little flustered about where she would put it - as when out for a picnic she has her egg and cress sandwiches, blanket and flask packed in a basket in one hand, and her favourite book in the other. I said we might have to think about a larger picnic bag - and that's where we left it...
Delilah is nervously sitting in my little Etsy shop, lifting the top of her head a little over the windowsill to see if there is anyone out there who might have just the spot for her at home! If you get the chance, do pop over and say hello :)) xx
