He loves the West Country, being close the wide sea and the open moor, but his little paws are itching for something new. He quite fancies the thought of London, the Big Smoke. He would like to see the Queen at Buckingham Palace and see the crown jewels, meet the ravens at the Tower of London and most especially he would like to take a ride on the Tyrannosaurous Rex at the National History Museum. I mentioned that he might not get very far with this last request, but he seems undeterred.
A traveller at heart, this handsome fella is looking forward to seeing the world.
Archie is currently sitting in my little Etsy shop, watching a robin hop about in the garden. Do pop over and say hello if you get the chance : ))
Hello everyone... goodness me it's been a while and it feels wonderful to be back!!
We have been busy here with orders, new bear ventures and a studio change - more on that soon.
But in the meantime, this little guy is growing impatient. Currently a bare bear... he is waiting for some trousers, a little ageing, maybe a ribbon or a bell or both.... sooner rather than later as it is very chilly here. He is sat by the fire, snuggled up in a tweed blanket - but by Friday he should be looking for a home.
Meet Frank. Frank is anxiously waiting for the first snowfall as he is ready. He is more than ready. He has his presents wrapped and his mince pies made and the wood is cut for the fire. It's just not quite cold enough yet. But he is certain it is coming and he is waiting, nose pressed against the glass in my little Etsy shop, for the first sign of the first Christmas snowflake.
Do pop over and say hello - but please don't mention is not quite cold enough to snow just yet!!
Meet Paddy - so called because he reminds me of Paddington bear! A very special bear, who likes long walks on wintery mornings, the sound of the frost crunching under his feet and the smell of log fires and cigars. Of course - his favourite snack is a marmalade sandwich, and he does have a tendency - if left alone - to get lost. He is in desperate need of a hat under which to keep his sandwiches, so this is on his Christmas list.. along with some sticks to build a den with and a lovely royal blue coloured coat ;)
Paddy has just apprehensively stepped into my little Etsy shop along with the other revellers - who are all currently covering everything in tinsel, fairy lights and baubles... Being bigger than the rest I was hoping he might calm things down a little... Do pop over and join in the fun if you get the chance... :))) x
If you get the chance do pop over to my little Etsy shop. Holly and Ivy are causing a stir in there, jumping in and out the sledge, playing Christmas songs far too loudand dressing up in wrapping paper and tinsel.
Please feel free to pop by and try and settle them down ;) xx
This is Edward's favourite time of year. He loves the cold crisp mornings and the smell of the log fires in the air. He loves to spend his days in the great outdoors, kicking up and autumn leaves and throwing wintery snowballs! Then he likes to sit by a warm log fire and watch the flakes of snow melt off his fur! He rarely gets a cold, even though he refuses to wear long trousers... but we think this might be due to his love of a mug of hot honey and lemon when he gets back indoors. Nature's very own medicine!
Edward is wearing a little patch out of the wooden floor in my Etsy shop, quietly pacing up and down. He would much rather be outside!
Do pop over and say hello if you get the chance! xx
