Boys and their toys
Yesterday was a beautiful day in Devon. The sun was shining and we were lucky enough to be invited to visit friends, who in turn are lucky enough to live on Hilltop Farm on Dartmoor. James played with dogs, checked the chickens had laid any eggs, said hello to the ducks and made friends with Charlie the minature pony. We all had a lovely time. I played 'house' in the Landrover and Daddy and his boy were in their element racing round the field on the quad bike!
James is determined he's going to be a farmer when he grows up. Its all he talks about, so this was the stuff his dreams were made of! He's planning to have his farm in his bedroom. A cow, a pig and a sheep. He's having 4 children and I'm going to be their mother, and Lauren (his sister) is going to be his wife, the cook and the 'washer-upper'. Obviously there are a few things that need to be ironed out along the way, but I see no need to shatter any dreams just yet!
We are all off to the beach for Good Friday tea (if the weather holds) so I'm going to wish you all a Happy Easter today as I think I shall be too busy to post tomorrow.
This is my little Easter find.. A gorgeous trio which I thought would be perfect for the season.
So I'm off to eat cake for four days. Any one want to join me?!
Have a great Easter everyone x

I will!!! It all looks for fantastic! We are looking at fish and take away in our house this weekend. I hope you have a great time at the beach.

Have a wonderful Easter! Your day at the farm looks great, wouldn't it be wonderful to have a farm in your bedroom (apart from the mucking out!). My youngest wants to marry me when she grows up!

Sounds like you all had a lovely time. I am jealous of that Easter cake in the photo. It looked good. I have a question. When etsy gives prices it is always in $. Do we convert it ie half it to know what you are charging, or is there a different explanation. I'm not sure if I have my etsy set right. Can you explain?

What fun! I love seeing pictures of the countryside. The rolling hills and plots of land outlined by trees and shrubs look like a storybook. Happy Easter!

I would love to join you in an Easter cake fest!
I am pretty keen in joining James on his hilltop farm on Dartmoor too.. as long as I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to milk the cows!
