Its been a hectic week. As usual. But it's had it's moments that make all the craziness worthwhile, those little moments that make you stop for a second and think. Like admiring the colours of the flowers on my doorstep as I was rushing to the post office...
Finding this little note left for me when I thought they were all tucked up in bed...
Loving every minute of sports day, and the sheer joy on their faces...
Catching someone whilst she was watching the day go by outside...
And realising that there's no point in rushing... I'm going to be late again, taking a deep breath, sitting back and appreciating the ways of the countryside!
Thank you all for your lovely comments on my last post.
Hope you find some time to kick back and relax this weekend xx

Yet another lovely post. I love your shopping basket - I must remember to use mine more often. Have a great weekend.

Awww! I get notes like that from my girl too. Even now - and she's 18!! Also, love the little touch like "brown paper packages tied up with string" - it's just "one of my favourite things" lol.

Oh! I love that photo of the cows. Waiting for the cows to cross was such a part of our country childhood and something that we unfortunately rarely see here in the Adelaide Hills anymore (dairy farmers are a dying breed)
Lovely post.

What a truly wonderful and loving note from your daughter. One to keep and treasure forever.
Sports day cancelled twice at my daughter's school due to rain...

That note from your daughter is the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time! I'm so pleased you showed it to us, it's just wonderful! And the cows, well, as good an excuse as any for being late, I'd say!
