We are in the first few days of Six Days of Art here in South Devon, six days during which artists open their homes, studios, galleries and other platforms to display their art and let people see them at work.
So, I have been spending as much time as possible in my studio at Seale Hayne, to make the most of the event, and inspired by the Art Auction we had last Friday, I made up my own little mixed media collage to hang on my studio wall! What do you think? I didn't have the courage to put it in the auction, but I am quite happy with it hanging on my wall!
Also hanging around the studio at the moment...
trousersuits and vintage trims waiting to be worn by new little bears...
gradually filling up my white walls!
and the most scrumptious smelling David Austin roses that my dad picked for me from his garden. Ahhh .... they are simply wonderful.
It's half term here this week so we have some plans to get out and about and enjoy the countryside, despite the weather!
Have a wonderful week everyone! x
