A Day Out With Daisy...Part 2

So last week, me, my friend and Daisy the campervan went on another jolly excursion!! :))

Weather aside, (cold and a little wet), we put on our coats, packed some food and set off for Dartmoor.

After enjoying ambling along the country lanes at a happy Daisy-style pace (and watching cars coming the other way reverse as we clearly couldn't!) we arrived at our desination - Newbridge on Dartmoor.

After a few cups of tea in the van to get warmed up we wrapped up and took an amble along a beautifully peaceful walk,

alongside the River Dart,

with not another soul in sight ..

Well... apart from the residents...

which included some beautiful Dartmoor ponies, and their newborns!

Then it was back to the van to warm up with some more tea and soup warmed on the stove...

Oh yes... and a good old natter!!

Another wonderful trip.

Whilst nattering we decided that on our next adventure we should take some sort of craft with us to do whilst nattering - and hopefully my old Singer sewing machine - so crafty plans are afoot!   Watch this space ;)
