Last week was a busy half term week - with baking, walking, a visit to the zoo and a fun park, a brisk visit to the beach and, needless to say, the boys strode out on to the moors and made camp ... In The Rain :0
and had lunch on a open fire!
As far as I am aware, it can only be boys that enjoy making camp in the rain. They returned home wet, with everything that clung to them wet and everything that was being carried in a bag equally wet, smelling of smoke from an open fire, literally beaming with happiness.
I know that had I have gone, and returned home sopping wet, with everything I owned equally sopping wet - my smile would not have been so big !!!! I don't do so well in the rain ....

It's a boys thing - camping, making fires and loving it more in the rain! I need my creature comforts these days!
