It was a hectic time, between 24th December and 2nd January, so it was nice to get back home and take a little time to refresh and breathe in the beauty of the new year.
I've been busy rearranging my sewing room this week, I get quite motivated when I change things around a bit. And it was in need of a bit of new year refreshment... and I think I'm happy with it now.. after changing it around about four times! I shall post some pictures next week. I get bored of things being in the same place pretty quick, its a thing with me. I don't like waking up to the same thing in the same place every day, and I change my routine around quite often where I can. I must have change to give me some spark... so changing furniture around, painting something or even just moving a few nick-nacks around gives me a boost. I used to swap jobs quite often in my London working days, til I realised I had a really low boredom threshold and discovered temping was the best option!
I love change... good change. So here's to lots of good change in 2009!
Have a great weekend everyone x
I love change too, bring it on, can't wait to see your workroom. x

Isn't it odd how just the change of a few things in a room suddenly makes you feel more vibrant and full of energy? Good luck!

We must be from the same mould, my husband and mother both say that they need to guess where the kettle may be when they go to make a cup of tea and it is a shame, but my children have to guess where I may have put there toys next !!!!!
I love to tidy my kitchen and have a little shuffle around, I think it keeps things fresh and gives the house a whole new look....

PS
Am in love with my new Boden coat, only thing is you can not miss me now in a bright lime green cord jacket !!!!

I am forever changing things around...but I used to be far worse! I would change the whole rooms around....I could frequently be seen humping furniture around here there and everywhere! I just loved the new look.
I like change, yet in some ways I like routine too. ;-)

I am really looking forward to seeing your sewing room. I find pictures of sewing rooms just so interesting, God knows why, but my own wee corner makes me so happy every time I sort it out. Hurry up!

Low boredom threshold and impatience are my two problems. I want it all different and I want it now. Might have to wait a bit longer though and settle for just moving a few cushions around for now.
Am itching for change and good to see I'm not alone.
Happy New Year
