There have been some fun and games in the studio since I our return from Portscatho on Monday. A new addition has caused quite a stir.
Meet Wilbur the terrier on wheels. I was unaware he was quietly sitting on Jane's stall for the best part of the morning. But when our eyes met across the crowded hall it was love at first sight. I knew he had to be mine. Our fate was sealed. I tried for a good part of the day to turn my back on him, shut him out of my thoughts, but it was hopeless. We were destined to be together.
When Jane showed me he had an ear missing, I knew I could fix it. When she showed me his missing eye, I knew I had the perfect match waiting.
And when he came home with me to the studio, it was like he was always meant to be there. Sweet, sweet, boy.
His place in the little window was already waiting.
Now its just a question of who gets to ride on his back every day!
Good Times! xx
Oh and he is a lovely old chap. And how I love looking through your shop window. I would just love to have a browse!

Quelle belle trouvaille ! Et surtout quelle belle rénovation !
Wilbur est un beau "toutou" (it's a French cute word to say "dog")
La boutique a l'air sublime ... j'aimerai bien la voir "en vrai" un jour !
Bonne journée !

I had one just like that when I was a little girl. That really did bring back some heppy memories. Hope the real live puppies have settled in their new homes and you are not missing them too much
Kindest Regards Linda

What a DELIGHTFUL-looking shop and all of your creations are so adorable. I haven't seen one that I didn't like.
I would love to snap my fingers and be in front of that shop right now

I also had one one of these lovely Dogs as a child and was devastated when I had to leave him in the UK when we emigrated to Australia but last Year he was finally replaced by a soft Toy version given to me by my Partner for my Birthday :) Wilbur looks quite at home in your Window

If it had been me Wilbur wouldn't have stayed on the stall for that long! Well done. What a fabulous find!

We have one of those dogs that has been in the family for years.Children have learnt to walk pushing him along and he's a bit threadbare now. When Bella first went round to my mother's house...where dog on wheels resides...she backed away and barked at it!...daft dog that she is!!

Hi Nicky
He looks a little bit wary and as though he has lots of secrets! Fits the window beautifully.
