No.... its not mine.. but I wish it was! It is a page out of a magazine which I have kept for ages... can't remember which magazine now, probably Country Living or Country Homes and Interiors.
We have recently had a new boiler fitted as our old 'Valiant' was nearly 25 years old, spluttering and coughing and not looking like it was going to make another winter. So we took a bullet and got a new one.
And as the old one was wrenched away (literally).. and the new one placed in a different spot in the kitchen.. the whole kitchen seems to have 'blown up' around the mess. A gaping hole where the old one was... with 1940s wallpaper behind it :), and a general sense of ... 'the whole kitchen needs redoing' has evolved around it.
Not one for grand plans due to a limited budget, I have been planning a how I would like my new kitchen to be. I would like shelves... definitely more shelves - so I can display lovely things in glass jars and I would like a a cupboard just like the one in the picture, which I intend to find at a market and paint up!
Our kitchen cupboard doors have definitely seen better days, and I like the idea of the curtains here and there in their place.
Oh... and I like this one too...

I love the display cupboard in this one, and the red, white and blue theme... that's my favourite too.
So these two pictures will be stuck to my 'not so nice' kitchen doors whilst I dream and save.
Dream and save....
And meanwhile the boat I mentioned in the previous post will have to wait ;)
Have a great weekend everyone xx
