Teddy Bear Times

The British Artist Bear Awards were featured in this month's edition of Teddy Bear Times magazine, and I was more than chuffed to see my little bear on the glossy pages :)

A Twitcher ...

Ladies and gents, we have a serious twitcher in our midst....

This handsome little fella is a most enthusiastic bird watcher.  He loves all sorts, large and small, but his current favourite has to be the blue tit.  However, being a little 'under-tall' he invariably needs to be standing on something to get the best view, so here is where the pastry cutter tin comes in very handy.  He has been gazing out of my kitchen window for the best part of the day, only stopping for a sit down when his legs start to tingle or to take a restorative bite from a rather large slice of victoria sponge :)

He loves nothing better than to sit (or stand) on a windowsill or shelf and gaze out of the window looking for a bird he can cross off his 'most want to see' list ... ;)

At the moment he is sitting patiently in my Etsy shop, although he is a little frustrated by the view.  There are no windows in my Etsy shop so he will have to postpone any birdwatching until he finds a new home, with a nice view from a windowsill !!

Bringing the sunshine in ...

I brought a little bit of sunshine with me into the studio yesterday, and those little golden heads made me smile all day! :)

Stumbled upon ...

I have been stumbling upon a number of great blogs lately, but The Cheeky Pickle blog needs to be shared as it has guest posts from the most inspirational bloggers and great tips of building a creative business.

This week Anika Bee discusses the ins and outs of selling wholesale - she discusses how to price your products for wholesale and how to present them to shops, and on Wednesday 22nd February the guest post will be from Dr. Judit Szilagyi all about time management - I shall definitely be tuning in for this one!!

Shabby Old Panda - ** New Design **

Here he is .. my newest design.  A shabby old panda bear.

He stands just a whisker over 9 inches tall, and he has been aged and tattied up a little :)

He has the sweetest glint in his eye, looking to make someone happy ... and with Mother's Day just around the corner... !!

He is sitting nervously in my little Etsy shop... if you get the chance do pop over and say hello :)

Busted ..

This is how I found her, basking in the early morning sunshine on my bed!

Knowing full well she is not meant to be up there, she's trying her luck whilst Mr F was away.

She knows I'm a soft touch, and she knows how to use it!

Little Shabby Blue Elephant ...

A little shabby pale blue elephant - This little guy is a real sweetheart, a little worn and torn around the edges, but a heart of gold.  He does not, however, fair very well in the winter as he has a rather delicate chest and tends to catch a cold at the drop of a hat ;)

Complete with his own crown, he is a very proud little chap.

He is pocket-sized, standing a whisker over 6 inches, and he is able to stand unaided.

Ha Ha!  Sorry for the pun but I couldn't help myself on Valentines Day!

My lovely husband took this wonderful photograph recently on Dartmoor.  Aren't they fabulous?!
