Last week it rained here in the South West of England. It rained from Monday to Thursday, and it was relentless - I might have mentioned it ;0. But someone must have been looking down on us on Friday as we took off for a weekend break to Cornwall. The sun came out and she shone like she has not shone all year so far...
We stayed in a lovely friend's mobile home - on a site just 5 minutes drive from the most glorious bays - Harlyn Bay, Constantine Bay, Westgate Bay, with golden sands and turquoise seas. The holiday park was wonderful, the kids just ran free, enjoying the sun and the wildlife :) This bay is Constantine Bay, and was just breathtaking.
The braver ones amongst us ventured in ...
Whilst others sat back and soaked up the sun... and the beautiful views.
who would have thought that three days later... we are all shivering again back home!
Simple days spent playing, listening, and watching whilst the world carried on without us for a while...
We were truly blessed!
We took some time to drive along the coastline, which was so very beautiful...
Where every so often you would hear a gasp as we took in the stunning surroundings..
A short, but beautiful break.
Here is a link to where we stayed for the weekend - a wonderful place to be :))
I love Cornwall, too. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous photos of this truly magical place.
