Reason For Absence ...

Apologies for the lack of posts recently.. I blame it all on the new technology that has entered this house.  

We have just swapped our old computer which was on its knees for an Apple Mac, and boy am I confused!!  Firstly I had to wait for the initial week of everyone being overcome with excitement at its arrival, and me not actually getting to even see it due to the sea of heads in front of the screen waiting to try it out..  and now they are back to school and work and I finally get to sit down and try and work it out .. well, frankly .. it scares the hell out of me!

So, please bear with me while I get to grips with modern technology!  

I have a little hug of bears and other creatures sitting here optimistically, waiting to be introduced, but they will have to wait a little while whilst I make friends with the Apple Mac!!

I have an iPad, which according to my other half, would be perfect to " do your blog on". But I still wait for the family computer, as blogging on an iPad scares me!!! Technology!!!! Good luck. Sarah

O Nicola, I can shake your hands! The fruity machine has entered my house 4 weeks ago, and I still work on two laptops. Today I was screaming to the fruity one why it didn't do what I wanted. I call it ' I am still in denial' . But I think it is refusal. Nothing is the same, and everything takes ages to do. And one thing; stop looking for the delete-button. It isn't there. No really, it isn't.
When ever you want to moan and yell about the fruit machine, please email me....
I have one clean and dry shoulder to cry on. The other one I dry my own eyes on......

OOh I love Dorry's name for her Apple Mac - The Fruity One! yes I have one of these as well, last couple of years in fact and -how can I put this, I still haven't a clue!!!! (Technology is not my thing) - good luck and enjoy! If you have any tips, please let me know.

Oh how funny - I'm so glad to hear I'm not on my own... everytime I go on it something whizzes across the screen or I can't get out of what I was doing ... Aarrrrgghhhhh!!! This is going to take a while ..!! x

I've never used anything but an Apple and when forced to use Windows etc, I get terribly confused and I guess that's how you're feeling right now! You'll get used to it, Apple's are great. Look forward to seeing the new creations :)
