The Vintage Magpie

This is Edward's favourite time of year. He loves the cold crisp mornings and the smell of the log fires in the air. He loves to spend his days in the great outdoors, kicking up and autumn leaves and throwing wintery snowballs! Then he likes to sit by a warm log fire and watch the flakes of snow melt off his fur! He rarely gets a cold, even though he refuses to wear long trousers... but we think this might be due to his love of a mug of hot honey and lemon when he gets back indoors. Nature's very own medicine!

Edward is wearing a little patch out of the wooden floor in my Etsy shop, quietly pacing up and down.  He would much rather be outside!

Beatrice

Meet Beatrice.

Beatrice is a very fine fox... 10 inches tall from ear to toe.  She dreams of fine things and wishes on bright stars. She likes sparkly jewels and fripperies and hopes one day to have wished on every star in the sky.  

Beatrice is made from beautifully soft caramel and white coloured viscose, and has high quality German glass eyes. She has hand-tinted black markings on her limbs, a little blush on her cheeks and a hand stitched nose. She is filled with cotton polyfil for softness and a little steel shot for a lovely weight. She wears a little ruff made from very fine muted tulles, a vintage style tag made from an old sewing pattern,a Santa hat and a little Christmas "Special Delivery" tag ... she is hoping to make someone very happy this Christmas :))

Arthur

Arthur loves books. Not just any books - specifically books about adventure and mischief. His other great love is honey. The sweetest and stickiest honey he can find. So together, books and honey make for his perfect afternoon :))

Arthur is currently sitting in my little Etsy shop, nervously thumbing through a pile of books I've found for him, his favourite being Just William.    If you get the chance, do pop by and say hello :)) xx

Sprinkling of Christmas ...

Meet Arthur - a scrumptious little Christmas bear complete with little blue dungarees, aged ruff and his very own Christmas hat!

Little Peggy

Little Peggy is a borrower by nature. She loves to borrow scraps of fabric, buttons, pins - she loves anything with a sparkle or that she can make good use of.

She also loves a sewing pattern, tho she is not very good at following one ;)

Little Peggy is sitting in my little Etsy shop, hoping for a new home she can settle into and get cosy in before the Christmas rush.
